(우산은 왜 갖고 다녀요?)

B : The weather forecast said that it’s going to rain in the afternoon.

(일기예보에서 오후에 비 온다던데요.)

A : The weather is changeable these days, isn’t it?

(요즘 날씨가 참 변덕스러워요, 안 그래요?)

B : Yeah! It was sunny and warm, and cloudy and windy, and then rainy.

(그러게요. 화창하고 따뜻했다가, 흐리고 바람 불었다가 그러고는 비가 내리네요.)

A : It is really capricious.

(진짜 변덕스럽네요.)

B : I wish we had warm weather next week.

(다음 주는 좀 따뜻해졌으면 좋겠어요.)

→the weather is changeable 날씨가 변덕스럽다. changeable은 변화하기 쉬운, 자주 변하는 등의 의미이다. capricious 도 마찬가지로 변덕스러운이라는 의미로 요즘같이 변덕스러운 날씨를 말할 때 사용하면 된다. The weather is capricious = the weather is fickle.

→I wish~ ~하면 좋겠다. I wish I were a boss. (내가 사장이면 좋겠다.) I wish I had a break. (좀 쉴 수 있으면 좋겠다.)
